About the artist: Arden Fekett has been a staple on the Long Island, New York art scene since her first local showing 35 years ago. An eclectic talent, Arden first gained notice as a painter in her twenties in 1975 when she won an award for her arresting and emotional self-portrait, leading to her painting being featured in a gallery in upstate New York. Arden is active in the community and has participated in many local art shows over the years, making a particular splash in 2019, when her painting "Woman in the Red Veil", valued at the time at $10,000, was stolen from a show. Police detectives later recovered the painting in the thief's own home. Her work was most recently installed as an "Art and Commerce" exhibit featuring her incredibly colorful impressionist "Positano at Night" painting with Arden's Vault's stylish curve t-shirt and rug featuring the same painting.
